Connect your CRM

Send every booking, new lead and finished conversation to the CRM or practice software you already use.

Your team doesn't have to live in Saient. Every outcome the agents produce can be sent to the tools you already work in: a new lead in your CRM, a booking in your practice software, a row in a spreadsheet, a ticket for a handoff.

What gets sent

EventSent whenTypical use
lead.capturedSomeone new gets in touch for the first timeCreate a lead

Each event carries the contact (name, phone in +91…/+1… format, email), what happened, and a link back to the person in Saient. Match contacts in your CRM on the phone number. The full format is in Webhooks and API.

Choose how much personal data to send

Every webhook and API key has a privacy level:

  • Minimal: no personal details, only IDs, what happened and a link. Your team opens Saient for the rest.
  • Contact: adds name, phone and email. Right for most CRMs.
  • Full: adds conversation summaries and free-text reasons.

US clinics: only send contact or full data to tools covered by your HIPAA business associate agreement.

Which CRMs work

Any CRM that can receive a webhook works today, directly or through an automation tool:

Your toolHow to connect
LeadSquared, Zoho CRM, Bitrix24 (popular in India)Through Pabbly Connect or Make: Saient sends the event, the tool creates or updates the lead.
HubSpot, Salesforce, PipedriveThrough Zapier or Make.
Google Sheets, Airtable, SlackThrough any of the three tools, as a new row or a message.
Your own systemPoint a webhook at your server and verify the signature.

Native LeadSquared and HubSpot connections, with no automation tool in between, are planned.

Step by step: get a webhook URL and connect

  1. In your automation tool, create the trigger and copy its URL.
    • Pabbly Connect: new workflow → trigger Webhook by Pabbly → copy the webhook URL.
    • Make: new scenario → Webhooks → Custom webhook → Add → copy the address.
    • Zapier: new Zap → trigger Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook → copy the URL.
  2. In Saient, add the webhook. Settings → Integrations → Webhooks → Add webhook. Paste the URL, choose the events (start with booking.created and lead.captured) and the privacy level.
  3. Send a test. Click Send test and pick an event. Your tool receives a sample with every field, marked "test": true, so you can map fields.
  4. Map the fields into your CRM's action, for example "Create or update lead" with phone = contact.phone, name = contact.name, and a note from outcome.service and outcome.start.
  5. Switch it on, and watch the delivery log under the webhook in Saient: every attempt and your tool's response.

Looking things up in Saient

Automation tools can also read from Saient with an API key, for example "find the patient with this phone" before creating a CRM contact. Create a key in Settings → Integrations → API keys and use it in the tool's HTTP step:

GET https://<your Saient API host>/api/v1/contacts?phone=+919800000000
Authorization: Bearer sk_live_...

The Integrations page has a Try it box that runs a call with a new key, so you can check it works before using it anywhere. The API is read-only: it can't change anything in Saient.
