Quickstart
From a new account to agents answering real people, in about half an hour.
1. Create your business
Sign up and you land on Welcome. Enter:
- Business name: what the agents call you ("Sunrise Family Clinic").
- What kind of business: Clinic or practice or Other business. This decides which pack is made for you.
- Country: India or United States. This sets your currency, time zone and messaging rules.
You can add more businesses later from the business switcher at the top of the sidebar.
2. Pick your pack and hire agents
Choose your pack, then pick the agents to hire. Every agent starts ticked; most clinics begin with the Clinic Front Desk (answers patients, books visits, sends reminders) and add others later.
Hiring doesn't put anything live. Each agent adds its pages to your workspace: hiring Insurance Verification adds an Insurance page, the front desk adds Appointments and Patients.
3. Work through the go-live checklist
After hiring, you're on the Go-live checklist (Settings → Go live; the sidebar's Settings link shows 5 left). It's
one list for all your hired agents: each step appears once, however many agents need it.
| Step | What to do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Business profile | About, address, opening hours, fees and policies. The agents answer from this and nothing else. | Settings → Business |
| Services | What can be booked, how long it takes, the price, and who can do it. | Settings → Services |
| Bookable hours | When each person takes appointments. | Settings → Team & hours |
| Emergency contact | A staff phone that gets an alert when a message looks like an emergency. | Settings → Business |
| Connect a channel | WhatsApp, SMS, email or website chat. | Settings → Channels |
| Try it yourself | A test chat with the agent, on your real setup. Nothing is sent to anyone. | The agent's Try it tab |
| Agent settings | What a particular agent needs from you (for example, how many days before a visit to check insurance). | The agent's Settings tab |
A step shown as test mode works, but not for real yet. For example, only the built-in test channel is connected. The Go live button next to it shows what's missing.
4. Try it before patients do
Open an agent and use Try it. Talk to it the way a patient would: ask about hours, book a visit, move it, ask something it shouldn't answer. Test chats use your real services, hours and rules, and never message anyone.
5. Go live
Once a real channel is connected, the agents answer it. Keep an eye on Home and the Inbox for the first days: everything the agents hand to your team shows up there.
